No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Government Code to require the Department of Public Safety to compile and maintain statistical information on offenses involving family violence and submit an annual report on this statistical information to the legislature. It is assumed any costs associated with implementing the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
