No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend various codes to replace references to the former agencies Texas Juvenile Probation Commission and Texas Youth Commission with references to Texas Juvenile Justice Department. the bill would take effect September 1, 2015. It is assumed any costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.
