HB1679 by Raymond (Relating to the continuation of the Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Human Resources Code relating to the continuation and operation of the Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities (TCDD). TCDD is subject to the Sunset Act and will be abolished on September 1, 2015, unless continued by the Legislature. The bill would continue TCDD for twelve years and would take effect on September 1, 2015.

The Texas Education Agency indicates the bill does not have direct fiscal implications for the Foundation School Program or the operations of the Texas Education Agency.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
