No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure to include nonprofit organizations that provide services to needy individuals as potential recipients of donations in lieu of community service for certain defendants, as ordered by a judge.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
