IN RE:
HB1702 by Blanco (Relating to the elimination of the fee for the Gold Star mother, father, spouse, or family member specialty license plate.), As Engrossed
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would repeal Subsection 504.512(b) of the Transportation Code, regarding the $10 fee for issuance of "Gold Star Mother," "Gold Star Father," "Gold Star Spouse," and "Gold Star Family" specialty license plates.
Based on the information and analysis provided by the Department of Motor Vehicles and the Comptroller's office, it is assumed the elimination of the fee for the specialty license plates would not result in a significant impact to state or local revenue.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
