No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

This bill would amend the Labor Code relating to prohibiting an employer from accessing the personal online accounts of employees and job applicants through electronic communication devices; establishing an unlawful employment practice. Based on information provided by the Texas Workforce Commission, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
