No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Local Government Code to prohibit a municipality from requiring certain firefighters or police officers from using accumulated time or placing the employee on a temporary leave if another police officer or firefighter volunteers to do the work of the injured firefighter or police officer until the employee returns to duty.
