HB1827 by Lucio III (Relating to the use of digitized signatures in certain family law proceedings.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend several chapters of the Family Code to authorize the use of a digitized signature on certain legal documents and create requirements of such digitized signatures.

The Office of Court Administration anticipates no significant fiscal impact to the state court system resulting from this bill.

The bill would go into effect on September 1, 2015.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal impact to local courts is anticipated.
