No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Property Code related to agricultural liens and their priority under a conflicting security interest. The bill would provide criteria for when such liens may be considered perfected. The Texas Department of Agriculture indicates that bill provisions would not result in a significant fiscal implication to the department or the state.
