IN RE:	HB1889 by Metcalf (Relating to the authorization of the construction of an electric railway on or across a street, alley, square, or property of a county or municipality.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Transportation Code to amend the definition of "interurban electric railway company" and to require a company to obtain approval by the governing body of a county or a municipality before beginning construction of the electric railway.
