HB2013 by Sheets (Relating to recovery of attorney's fees against veterinarians for certain claims.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Civil Practice and Remedies Code to prevent a person from recovering attorney's fees against a veterinarian in a claim for killed or injured stock resulting from veterinary malpractice or negligence. Based on the analysis of the Office of Court Administration, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
