No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Election Code to require the Secretary of State to adopt certain procedures for the conduct of a primary election, and require the Secretary of State to reimburse certain election officials for primary related expenses.
The Secretary of State indicates the provisions of the bill could be implemented within existing resources.
The bill would take effect September 1, 2015.
