IN RE:
HB2033 by Raymond (Relating to authorizing counties to require the submission of digital maps in connection with the county plat approval process.), Committee Report 2nd House, Substituted
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Local Government Code to permit a commissioners court of a county to require certain applications for county plat approval to include digital maps that are compatible with other mapping systems used by the county and that fulfill certain other requirements. The bill would require an exception to be available to an owner if the owner of the tract submits with the application a statement indicating the technology necessary to comply with the requirements was not reasonably accessible.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
