No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require a teacher who provides instruction as part of a gifted and talented program to complete six hours of professional development every five years in gifted education specific to the subject the teacher instructs.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
