IN RE:
HB2171 by Sheffield (Relating to information maintained in the immunization registry with the consent of an individual after the individual becomes an adult.), As Engrossed
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would modify Chapter 161 of the Health and Safety Code as it relates to information maintained in the immunization registry. The bill would require the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) to change the process and timing by which an individual consents to maintain information in the immunization registry after an individual becomes an adult. DSHS indicates that implementation of the bill could be accomplished using existing resources.
Local Government Impact
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
