No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Transportation Code to permit a county tax assessor-collector in certain counties to obtain criminal history record from the Department of Public Safety for an applicant for a title service license issued under Subchapter E, Chapter 520, Transportation Code.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
