The bill would amend the Occupations Code to require a law enforcement officer to complete a training program on techniques to facilitate interactions with children, adolescents, and teenagers within the timeframe provided by current law. It is assumed any costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within current resources.
