No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Chapter 260 of the Health and Safety Code to exempt alcohol- and drug-free recovery homes from regulations pertaining to boarding home facilities. The Department of State Health Services and the Health and Human Services Commission indicate that any costs to implement provisions of the bill would be minimal and can be absorbed within available resources.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
