No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would designate the month of January of each year as Human Trafficking Prevention Month to increase awareness of human trafficking in an effort to encourage people to alert authorities to suspected incidents involving human trafficking.
The bill would take effect September 1, 2015.
