IN RE:
HB2358 by Lucio III (Relating to the exemption from certain registration and licensing requirements and taxes for certain businesses and employees who enter this state in response to a disaster or emergency.), As Engrossed
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Business & Commerce Code and the Tax Code to exempt from certain registration and licensing requirements and taxes certain businesses and employees who enter the state in response to a disaster or emergency. The exemptions would not apply for an out-of-state business entity or an affiliated in-state business entity who remains in the state after a disaster response. It is assumed the bill would not result in a significant fiscal impact to the state's revenues.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
