IN RE:
HB2387 by Reynolds (Relating to eligibility for early voting by mail.), As Introduced
No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Election Code to qualify certain individuals for early voting by mail if the voter's occupational status causes a hardship for the voter that prevents the voter from appearing at the polling place on election day.
Local Government Impact
The fiscal impact on local government entities cannot be determined due to the unavailability of data on the number of qualified voters who would be eligible under the provisions of the bill and who would vote by early voting by mail.
