No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend Insurance Code to make certain changes to the appointment and composition of the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association. The bill would take effect September 1, 2015.
The Department of Insurance and the Office of the Governor indicated that the duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished within each agency's existing resources.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
