No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Chapter 32 of the Family Code as it relates to persons other than parents who are authorized to consent to the medical treatment or immunization of a child. Both the Texas Medical Board and the Department of State Health Services indicate that implementation of the bill would not have a significant fiscal impact.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
