No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to permit certain county sheriffs to obtain criminal history record information on certain applicants or employees. The bill provides procedures of the disclosure of criminal history record information between the sheriff and applicable parties.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
