HB2596 by Leach (Relating to the date by which certain protective order information must be entered by a local law enforcement agency into the statewide law enforcement information system.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Family Code to require a law enforcement agency to input certain protective order information into the statewide law enforcement information system not later than the third day after receipt from the clerk of the issuing court.

The Office of Court Administration reported no significant impact to the state court is anticipated.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
