No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to permit certain municipalities to adopt an ordinance or resolution that supplement or supersede the operative provisions of a public retirement system's statute, which would include participation and eligibility requirements, funding source or amount and administration of the system.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.

The City of Austin and the City of El Paso reported no fiscal impact is anticipated as a result of the provisions of the bill.
