No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Chapter 264 of the Family Code as it relates to day care assistance and requiring the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) to study the effectiveness of the relative and other designated caregiver program.

DFPS does not anticipate any significant fiscal impacts as a result of complying with the provisions of the bill.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
