No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Election Code to specify a single notarized affidavit by a person who obtained the signatures would be valid for all signatures gathered by the person if certain conditions exist. The bill would permit a petition to be corrected and additional signatures to be presented after it has been initially filed and before the deadline for filing a petition.
