No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Chapter 322 of the Health and Safety Code to authorize certain health care facilities to secure a resident with a wheelchair safety belt if the resident or the resident's legal guardian provides written consent. It is anticipated that the duties and responsibilities of
implementing agencies would be accomplished through existing resources.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
