HB2968 by Guillen (Relating to the preservation of the Alamo complex.), As Passed 2nd House

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Natural Resources Code to encourage the General Land Office (GLO) to consult and coordinate with the City of San Antonio on the planning and development of improvements to the Alamo, including educational and museum facilities. The bill would amend the statutory duties of the Alamo Preservation Advisory Board. The General Land Office indicates it could absorb the costs associated with implementing the provisions of the bill within its current resources.
