FISCAL NOTE, 84TH LEGISLATIVE REGULAR SESSION

April 20, 2015

TO:
Honorable Geanie Morrison, Chair, House Committee on Environmental Regulation

FROM:
Ursula Parks, Director, Legislative Budget Board

IN RE:
HB3026 by White, Molly (Relating to the permitting of crematories under the Texas Clean Air Act.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require that, in establishing requirements for a permit by rule for animal crematories, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), the commission must use the same criteria and requirements for animal crematories that are used for human crematories.

No significant fiscal implications to the TCEQ are expected as a result of the bill's passage.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
