No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Chapter 166 of the Health and Safety Code as it relates to artificially administered nutrition and hydration and life-sustaining treatment. The bill would modify the advance directive form and certain related information provided to a patient and their representative. It is anticipated that the duties and responsibilities of the implementing agencies would be accomplished through existing resources.
