HB3097 by Paul (Relating to the governance and operation of municipal management districts.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Local Government Code to modify the method to create a municipal management district (MMD), the appointment and qualifications of directors of a MMD, the area a MMD could provide services to, requirements of certain petitions, and dissolution requirements.

The bill would repeal Section 375.064(b), (c), and (e), Local Government Code.
