No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Election Code to change certain procedures for the canvasing of primary elections by certain campaign officials. The bill would also amend the Election Code to require the Secretary of State to post certain information on the agency's website.
The Secretary of State indicates that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed within the agency's existing resources.
The bill would take effect September 1, 2015.
