HB3122 by Faircloth (Relating to ballots counted by the early voting ballot board.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Election Code to extend the date that the counting of provisional ballots could be conducted. The bill would permit an election officer to petition a district court for injunctive or other relief if certain conditions exist relating to an incorrect rejection of a early voting ballot.

The Office of Court Administration reported no significant fiscal impact to the state court system is anticipated.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
