No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Under the bill, a public information officer for a governmental body could satisfy a public information request by referring the requestor to a website that contains the requested information. This provision would not apply if the requestor requests the information in a manner other than access on a website.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
