HB3246 by Crownover (Relating to the authority of a pharmacist to dispense and deliver tobacco cessation drugs.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to the authority of a pharmacist to dispense and deliver tobacco cessation drugs.  Based on the analysis of the Texas Medical Board and Board of Pharmacy, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
