No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Estates Code to add that real property transactions would be voidable if the durable power of attorney was not filed with the county clerk within 10 days after the date the real property transaction was filed. Based on the analysis of the Office of Court Administration, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
