IN RE:
HB3360 by Spitzer (Relating to the revocation of an organization's adoption of a section of the state highway system.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Transportation Code to authorize a person to petition the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to revoke an organization's adoption of a segment of the state highway system under TxDOT's Adopt-a-Highway program. The bill would require TxDOT to hold a public hearing to determine whether to grant a petition within 60 days of receiving the petition.

Based on the information provided by TxDOT, it is assumed any costs or duties associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within the agency's existing resources.
