The bill would amend the Government Code relating to underwriting standards for developments receiving an allocation of low income housing tax credits administered by the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA). Based on the analysis of the TDHCA, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
