HB3396 by Phillips (Relating to the reporting of certain direct campaign expenditures.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Election code to increase the threshold for reporting of a direct campaign expenditure on a campaign finance report with the Ethics Commission . It's assumed that any costs associated with implementing the bill could be absorbed within existing resources.

The bill would take effect upon receiving two-thirds vote, otherwise, it would take effect September 1, 2015.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
