No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would direct the Texas Facilities Commission (TFC) to advertise surplus state property on the commission's website. Under current law, that responsibility lies with the Comptroller of Public Accounts. The bill also would authorize TFC to establish a procedure by which a state agency could receive a return on small value items through the transfer of similar items.
