No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend Section 11.48 of the Tax Code, relating to confidential property tax information, to add appraisal district agents who perform appraisal services for the appraisal district to the list of individuals to whom confidential information in exemption applications filed with the chief appraiser may be disclosed. This confidential information includes driver's license numbers, personal identification certificate numbers, and social security numbers.
