HB3681 by Geren (Relating to the categorization of violations by the Texas Ethics Commission.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Government Code to require the Ethics Commission to categorize reporting violations into three levels based on the seriousness of the violation, and to adopt rules defining which violations would be included in each category. Any costs associated with implementing the bill could be absorbed within current agency resources.
 
The bill would take effect September 1, 2015.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
