No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Chapter 201 of the Labor Code as it relates to exceptions to employment for blind persons participating in certain rehabilitation work programs. The Texas Workforce Commission and the Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services indicate that implementation of the bill would not result in a significant fiscal impact.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
