IN RE:
HB3770 by Kuempel (Relating to the prosecution of criminal offenses of electioneering near a polling place.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Election Code to modify an offense to include loitering or electioneering for or against any candidate, measure, or political party within 100 feet of an outside door that a voter may enter the polling place building or a parking space for person with disabilities that serves the building and a designated travel path between the space and an outside door of the building.

Local Government Impact

There could be an increase of revenue from fines imposed under the provisions of the bill. Revenue gain from fines imposed and collected is not anticipated to have a significant fiscal impact.
