No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Election Code to require counties to adopt certain rules and procedures to allow voters to use a limited ballot in an election. The bill would also require the Secretary of State to prepare certain information for voters using a limited ballot.
The Secretary of State indicates the provisions of the bill could be implemented within existing resources.
The bill would take effect September 1, 2015.
