HB3962 by Bernal (Relating to the time of delivery to the early voting ballot board for ballots voted by mail in certain counties.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Election Code to modify the time period that the jacket envelopes containing the early voting ballots voted by mail could be delivered to the board.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.

Brown County reported there could be a delay of the processing of election results due to the provisions of the bill, which could result in costs to the county.
