No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Chapter 161 of the Human Resources Code to require an operator of a group home to develop and maintain a neighborhood and community engagement plan that meets certain requirements. The Department of Aging and Disability services indicates that the provisions of the bill could be implemented within existing resources.
