No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Chapter 502 of the Occupations Code to authorize licensed marriage and family therapists to utilize diagnostic classification systems and related billing codes for evaluation, classification, treatment, or other activities in connection with a claim for payment or reimbursement. The Department of State Health Services indicates that costs associated with rulemaking activities can be absorbed within current resources.
